Cellulite
Lipodystrophy Gynoid is the correct, technical name for “cellulite”, though the term also refers to bacterial infection of the subcutaneous tissues; outside the medical sphere the term already is enshrined. Cellulite is a change caused by the accumulation of fat, water and toxins in the cells, making these cells full and hard, leaving the area with unevenness and nodules, which manifests itself externally as an “orange peel” texture. It is caused by changes in fatty tissue under the skin, in conjunction with microcirculation alterations and a consequent increase in fibrous tissue.
